After serving faithfully in many capacities at New Jerusalem International Christian Ministries, Elder Wayne D. Dixon was commissioned by God to pastoral ministry and, in 2002, became the founding pastor of Words of Life Ministries (a nondenominational house of worship) in Richmond, Virginia. He is a powerful intercessor who is endowed with the gift of prophecy and has a heart of love and compassion for those who are in distress. While his ministry extends to all, he is passionate about attending to orphans, youth and the elderly.
Pastor Wayne is dedicated to empowering those around him and seeks to change lives by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ while daily extending invitations for all to experience the greatness of God's love. He is committed to ministering salvation to the lost, eliminating the distress of those who are suffering and raising the level of consciousness of mankind regarding God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
Elder Dixon’s love and commitment to ministry is evidenced in many ways, including more than 20 years serving as a basketball coach, mentor and friend to Richmond’s inner city youth, and more than 10 years working in the local school systems and volunteering at different nursing homes and prisons in the area. He is an advocate for excellence and education (both spiritually and naturally), having earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Christian Education (MACE) from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, as well as a Master of Science in Patient Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Elder Felicia is the Co-Founder and Co-Pastor of Words of Life Ministries in Richmond, Virginia where she serves faithfully with her husband, Pastor Wayne. She thrives on reading, studying and teaching the Word of God and is a wife, mother, evangelist, teacher, preacher, conference speaker and psalmist who flows under a life-changing, purpose-realizing anointing. Her love for God is evidenced by her dedication to ministry, her prayer life and her determination to provide holistic ministry.
Committed to fulfilling God’s purpose for her life, CoPastor Felicia strives daily to minister salvation to the lost, eliminate the distress of those who are suffering and raise the level of consciousness among mankind regarding the power of spoken words. Her commitment to excellence resulted in graduating Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and Human Resources Management, and graduating Suma Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University's Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology.
Pastors Wayne and Felicia have been happily married for 32 years.
